This Christmas we went to visit the McCready side of the family. Of the 5 McCready kids and their spouses/families, there was only one morning where we were all there together so we opened up presents about 5 days early. The biggest gifts were 4 cars from Grammy and Grandpa for the grandkids to share.
Lizzy and Sierra played with Uncle John and Aunt Lindsey's new puppy for a few hours before they had to leave. Bunson made a perfect baby doll. And yes, that is a real dog, not a stuffed animal.

Sadly, Grandpa B had passed away on the 19th, the day before most of us arrived in town. Grandma B has pretty severe dementia and tended to get stressed out and confused. The best way to keep her in one place was to look at old photos/letters with her. Mandie and I particularly enjoyed getting to know more about Grandma and her past.
On Christmas morning Santa brought presents for Liz, Jake, and Lydia in their bedroom so we had a private little present-opening.
The rest of Christmas morning (and most of the the rest of the trip) the boys worked on an extension of the playhouse. It's a big extension.
There we also several walks through the Enchanted Forest.

Lizzy got the soundtrack to Frozen for Christmas so the girls dressed up in their fancy clothes and sang through the whole thing.
We had a lovely time with cousins, aunts and uncles, grandparents, and even a great-grandparent this past Christmas.
