We spent the morning at Jean Lafitte Park. It was a beautiful day and I have never seen so many alligators before! It was one of those days when I realized that even the muggy Louisiana swamps can really be quite stunning.
Sorry this video is a little blurry, but it shows the alligator we named "Louis." He was swimming right towards us! Toward the end of the clip you can hear Clint asking me where Lizzy was - we were starting to get a little nervous!

Wow, that is really pretty! We've been wanting to go there - we'll have to go soon before it gets too hot! I have to admit though, that I am a little nervous about the alligators being so close!
