Only in New Orleans
I often take Lizzy to the library which is about a 20 minute walk from our house. On the way we always pass this house and it cracks me up every time I see it. I love that these people have lifted their house up on cinderblocks about 4 feet off the ground but have no way access the front door except for a step ladder! Not exactly handicap friendly is it?

What a sad but accurate and hillarious commentary that house and its lovely "stairs" are on the mentality of people in Louisiana.
I totally have to agree with Lexi's comment. Sad, but accurate, and hilarious. Wow, the "stairs" are killing me! I'm so glad you took a picture!
