Jacob turned 3 on July 30th - the day after we returned from our huge vacationing every which way. We actually had a birthday party for him before we left with a few boys from his nursery class. We rented a bounce house with a water slide (which, just in case you were wondering, was SO much fun for the grownups in the family all day long...) Here is Bentley riding around in his cape that my mom and I made for all the little boys.

He didn't understand why he couldn't see anything through his telescope. Apparently it doesn't work too well on the forehead.
He had 2 great birthday parties! He was a lucky boy. But we're even luckier to have him in our family.
