This year for Halloween Lizzy was a mouse and Jacob was a lion (going along with Aesop's fable, I guess!) We went to our church's party on Friday night and then went trick or treating on Sunday. 
Here's Lizzy with her bosom buddy Brooklyn who was, ironically, a cat for Halloween. It worked out perfectly and the girls giggled and ran around the whole night.
My kids were TOTALLY into the whole Trick or Treat scene this year. In fact, Jacob kept wanting to walk right into people's homes - Clint had to physically pull him out of a couple of houses. Lizzy wanted to stop by home, dump out her completely full bucket, and continue on until who knows when. We even got some candy from the firemen at the fire station down the street!
