Oak Alley Plantation

Oak Alley Plantation has been on my list of "Things to Do in Louisiana" for the past 3 1/2 years so I was really excited when we decided to make a trip there today. It took about an hour to get there but it was worth it. The plantation and grounds were beautiful and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. We packed a picnic lunch and ate in front of the house surrounded by the enormous oaks. It was wonderful and I can't believe it took me so long to make it out there!
For the record: Lizzy took this picture!
